Bex on Glee!

Standard

Well, while there’s no official word, we thought we’d share Entertainment Tonight’s recent post:

EXCLUSIVE: ‘Glee’ Sneak Peek:

BexInGlee-20March2015

Sneak Peek from the Glee Series Finale

That certainly LOOKS a lot like a goth Bex at 1:32 in the “Sneak Peek” video!

So you MIGHT want to watch the Series Finale of Glee on this Friday night, March 20th. The flashback episode at 8 pm ET is sure not to disappoint!

AND in other news…

Bex attended the Human Rights Campaign Los Angeles Gala event last weekend.

She was seated with screenwriter, producer and humorist Philip David Morton. In his HuffPost piece about the event (HRC Gala Honors Shonda Rhimes and HBO’s Michael Lombardo), he says about Bex:

“At 20 years old, this young actress has already been a guest star on several TV series, and had a
break out role playing the scrappy homeless lesbian teen, Bullet, in AMC’s series The Killing. It
was thrilling to know she was heading into a creative world where the character choices she will
have will be more diversified than ever, and how people like the honorees of this evening and HRC
have worked hard for so many years to merely make that simple fact normal.”

Several of her official event photos are online (on sites like getty images and image collect) and she is quite well quoted in a Hollywood Times article.

Have a great week, everyone! And remember to kick-start it with Glee on Friday night at 8 p.m. EST on FOX

“Sin” Is On Her Way to Prime Time!

Standard

This is it, Bex fans!

Arrow Season 2 is underway, and episode 3 airs this week:

Wednesday Night

October 23

8-9 p.m. ET

The CW Network

That’s right, comic-book fans, Bex is going primetime, on a major network, and it’s even (almost) a family show! Ok, so lots of people get shot by arrows, but they’re BAD guys! Pow! Zam! Kaboom!

AND… in case you’ve missed episodes 1 and 2 of this action-packed season, here is a recap written by our friend and Wall Street Journal Arts & Entertainment columnist, Jason Evans.

http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2013/10/16/arrow-recap-season-2-episode-2-identity/

Frankly, Jason didn’t love episode 2 because he found the plot a little weak. I’m confident that it will improve as “Canary” and “Sin” enter the scene in episode 3. And besides — plot, Jason? Is a scintillating plot-line really what brings you back to Arrow each week?  😉

Personally, I’m all about the awkward eccentricities of Felicity (whom we learn in episode 2 is, not surprisingly, an MIT grad), the tortured relationship wisdom of Diggle, and…well, yeah, the eye candy.

So catch up on the adventures of Oliver Queen and crew, and check out Bex’s second TV debut, this time as a recurring Guest Star as Sin on Arrow.

Broken Dolls

Here’s a little preview of  what’s in store for us in Episode 3, including a fabulous little ditty about our favorite “starlet,” Bex TK:

Escaped convict Barton Mathis (guest star Michael Eklund) grabs Felicity, and Roy crosses paths with a plucky gal dubbed Sin (The Killing‘s Bex Taylor-Klaus). “If the Arrow has Roy, then Black Canary (to be played by Caity Lotz) has Sin,” is how Kreisberg described the new character during TVLine’s fall preview Q&A.

Casting Taylor-Klaus was a win for Kreisberg, who says that he and his wife were huge fans of the starlet’s work as The Killing‘s Bullet. “Truth be told, we were thinking of killing off [Sin] quickly,” he shared. “But now that we have Bex, we’re keeping her around.” http://tvline.com/2013/10/05/arrow-season-2-photos-laurel-captures-arrow/#!7/brokendolls/
